The Zebra crew’s second day of laying new asphalt at Pilgrim began with the old spaces along Broadway in the July mid-day heat. Photo: Jim Treadway.
The crew from Zebra Parking Lot Striping and Restorations put down new asphalt on Pilgrim’s old and new Parking Areas on Thursday, July 06, and Friday, July 07, 2017. The crew’s weeks worth of preceding work preparing all the surfaces was periodically interrupted by rain, but God granted largely sunny and dry days for the laying of the asphalt. Hot sun and air temperatures might have made the work go more smoothly but took its toll on the workers, who would return another day to stripe the parking areas after one Sunday of use. Glad to have the work finished, the congregation will anticipate seal-coating the areas and re-striping them in one year and be glad to have the Zebra crew back to do the job.
