For example, some links show how Pilgrim is a part of conservative, confessional Lutherans around the world, country, state, and region, and from others you can see that we also serve our region and community. In many cases, the descriptions with the links give you both some idea of why we think the link is useful and of what you will find on the site.

Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines, ON
One of two seminaries of Lutheran Church–Canada, CLTS was started by faculty from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, and, under Ontario law, grants its academic degrees under the auspices of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. Our pastor completed his seminary training at CLTS.

Promotes confessional Lutheran theology and research through conferences, scholarly exchanges, and publications, all of which assist the Church both to preserve and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Said to be “the largest and most frequently visited Internet site for the Lutheran Confessions”, attracting “visitors literally from around the world” and “often the only way people have to access the Book of Concord.”

Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne
One of the two LCMS seminaries, with roots going back to 1844, CTS was founded to address needs for “a clear Lutheran Confession coupled with a vigorous missionary effort”. The seminary began in Ft. Wayne, moved for a time first to St. Louis, MO, and then to Springfield, IL, and eventually returned to Ft. Wayne. From its various locations, God has sent forth from CTS more than 5,000 pastors and missionaries to serve in the United States and around the world.
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis
The other of the two LCMS seminaries, CS traces its roots back to 1839 in Perry County, MO, and has reportedly provided to the church in the United States and around the world more than 12,000 professional workers.
