After a week or two of measuring, aligning, digging, and building forms, the footings for the north wall of the new Parish Hall and its corners with the east and west walls were poured in the afternoon of Friday, February 12, 2016. Two loads of concrete were brought to the site by North Crete Services and moved into position by workers. Eventually concrete blocks will be positioned on the footings to serve both as the wall of the new building and effectively as part of the retaining wall for a section of the line that used to divide Pilgrim’s original property from two residential neighborhood lots to the north. We thank and praise God for the safe and speedy progress on the building and pray that it continues in His way and time.
